A rare screening of the star-studded Y2K-pop film oddity Longshot (2001) co-written and produced by disgraced impresario and creator of Backstreet Boys, Lou Pearlman. In his only film, he jams cameos from a roster of popstars (NSYNC, Britney Spears, and LFO among them) and screen legends (including Gilbert Gottfried, The Rock, and Danielle Fishel) into a uniquely strange mix of Disney Channel bubblegum aesthetics and American Gigolo-esque outsider seediness.
